Measrainsey (Meas) Meng was a postdoctoral researcher in the Clean Energy Transformation Lab (CETlab) and the Environmental Markets Lab (emLab) at the University of California, Santa Barbara during 2021-2022. Following UCSB, she was a research scholar in the Integrated Assessment and Climate Change Research Group and the Sustainable Service Systems Research Group at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis. She is now a Senior Energy Systems Modeller with the Open Energy Transition.
Meas is interested in how energy systems (particularly the electricity sector) impact the environment, and vice versa. Prior to starting her postdoc, Meas obtained a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC). She also has an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from USC and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.
